Erin Cannon is an associate in the Chicago office of Arnstein & Lehr LLP. She is a member of the firm’s Construction Practice Group. Prior to joining Arnstein & Lehr, Ms. Cannon was an associate in the Litigation Department at Jenner & Block in their Chicago office. She also was a law clerk to the Honorable Raymond A. Jackson, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

While in law school, Ms. Cannon served as a Legal Reasoning Research and Writing Dean’s fellow, a senior articles editor for the Howard Law Journal, and participated in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Clinic. Earlier in her career, Ms. Cannon worked for approximately four years as a senior cost engineer and project engineer for an international construction company.

During her career, Ms. Cannon has represented owners and equipment purchasers in breach of construction contract actions. She also has significant experience in conducting internal investigations and representing clients in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters including white collar defense, legal malpractice, estate litigation, and securities litigation.
